Minister of Interior Hails Retired FRSC Deputy Corps Marshal Bisi Kazeem for Outstanding Service

The Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has praised retired Deputy Corps Marshal (DCM) Bisi Kazeem for his dedication and commitment to road safety in Nigeria during his 12-year tenure at the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC). Tunji-Ojo commended Kazeem for positively projecting the image of the FRSC and described him as a true patriot who gave his all to the service of the nation.

The minister’s remarks came during the 11th valedictory lecture series and Pull-out Parade organized in honor of Kazeem in Abuja. Kazeem, who joined the FRSC on August 7, 1989, served as the Corps Public Education Officer (CPEO) for over 12 years before his appointment as DCM Training on January 22.

Tunji-Ojo highlighted Kazeem’s contributions to the FRSC, which went beyond his public relations responsibilities. He also played a key role in mentoring and inspiring younger officers to strive for excellence. The minister noted that Kazeem’s legacy would be remembered for years to come and that his dedication to road safety had left an indelible mark on the organization and the nation.

FRSC Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed also congratulated Kazeem on his unblemished career record and outstanding achievements. Mohammed praised Kazeem for his unwavering commitment to road safety and his dedication to the FRSC, describing him as a true leader and mentor to many officers in the corps.

In his response, Kazeem thanked the minister and the corps marshal for their kind words and praised the FRSC for providing him with the opportunity to serve the nation. He delivered a lecture on “Resilience, Loyalty, and Grace: How I Thrived Working Closely with Three Corps Marshals in the FRSC” and emphasized the importance of loyalty and commitment to one’s superiors and the nation.

Dignitaries present at the Pull-out Parade included the Managing Director of NAN, Ali Muhammed Ali, the Executive Director of Training and Special Duties at NTA, Adamu Sambo, and the FCT Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Mr. Shola Odum
