Saidi Balogun’s latest movie White/Funfun hits the market, making waves on YouTube

The latest movie from the stable of Saidi Balogun Productions, White/Funfun has hit the market and is currently having massive views on ApataTV, a channel on YouTube.
White or Funfun, is a two in one movie that was simultaneously shot in English and Yoruba languages, using same story, artistes location and costumes.
Produced and directed by veteran actor, Saidi Balogun, White (English title) or Funfun (Yoruba title), explores the belief that parents are the ultimate role models for children.
Speaking on the film, Balogun said: ”Every word, movement and action come with effect on the children. No other person or outside force has greater influence on the child than the parents”
White/Funfun, shot in different towns and cities in Nigeria, was released on DVD for home viewing on August 10, 2020 while it made its debut on ApataTV on YouTube on August 11, 2020 by Olasco Films.
The film has continued to make steady progress both in the market and on YouTube will rave reviews following it.
It was bankrolled by Whitefield Hotels, Ilorin, one of the wave making hospitality outlets in the Kwara State capital.
The movie parades a host of fantastic role interpreters viewers will have a swell time watching.
They include Adunni Ade, Femi Adebayo, Bolaji Amusan (Mr. Latin), Sola Olaibi, Yinka Alabi, Kenny Ogunde, Nkechi Blessing, and Mustipha Sholagbade.
Others are Wumi Toriola, Samuel Ajirebi, Basira Badia, Sunkanmi Omobolanle, Jamal Balogun, Kola Olaiya, Allwell Ademola, Mama Ajasco, Taiwo Gasper amongst several others.
Saidi Balogun, a household name in the Nigerian movie industry with over 30 years and counting in the industry, is a mulit-talented Actor and singer, who has produced several blockbuster movies, some of which are firsts in the country.
He maintains the record of being the first and only person to produce a two cast movie on the African continent.
His other works include Eti Keta, the first all Ankara movie, You or I, Mio Se Kogba, Gbewiri, Gbogbo Ere amongst several others.
