Oba Obateru Akinruntan condoles with Buhari over Kyari’s death

The Olugbo of Ugbo, Oba Frederick Obateru Akinruntan has condoled with President Muhammadu Buhari over the death of his Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari.

Oba Akinrutan, in a letter personally signed by him, described the late Kyari as a great administrator, prudent manager of human and capital resources, dedicated follower, uncommon leader and a pathfinder in Nigeria’s economic growth.

He also prayed that the Almighty Allah would strengthen President Buhari and the Presidency to bear the ‘great vacuum’ the passing of Kyari left behind, while also praying that the Almighty comfort the family he left behind.

The letter reads: “It is with total submission to the will of the Almighty Allah, who gives and takes that the entire people of my kingdom, Ugboland in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State, my imperial household and I, condole with Your Excellency and the Presidency on the passing unto the afterlife, the indefatigable Mallam Abba Kyari, who serves meritoriously as your Chief of Staff.

“Without dispute, the late Mallam Abba Kyari has left great marks of achievements in the history of Nigeria. He was a great administrator, prudent manager of human and capital resources, dedicated follower, uncommon leader and a pathfinder in Nigeria’s economic growth.

“We cannot quantify the value of loss of such brilliant and diligent mind, but my prayer is that the Almighty Allah shall forgive the departed and grant him great mark in the afterlife.

“Also, I pray that Allah shall comfort the family of the departed and strengthen Your Excellency and the Presidency to bear the great vacuum the passing of the late Abba Kyari eft behind.

“Mr. President, be assured of my imperial blessings and my commitment to the success of your administration.”
