The Lagos State branch of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) has taken a bold step toward strengthening collaboration within the real estate industry by paying a courtesy visit to Adron Homes and Properties. Led by its Chairman, ESV Tosin Kadiri, the delegation was warmly received at the Adron Group’s Head Office by the Group Chairman, Sir Aare Adetola Emmanuelking KOF.

The high-level meeting was aimed at fostering deeper engagement between professional estate surveyors and one of Nigeria’s most prominent property developers. During the visit, Sir Emmanuelking—himself a proud member of NIESV—shared the inspiring backstory of Adron Homes and its unwavering commitment to transforming Nigeria’s housing landscape.

“Adron Homes was not born out of convenience, but of a calling,” he said. “The industry is rife with challenges, but if you are truly called and driven by vision, you will stand out. We’ve seen many fall by the wayside, but with determination, resilience, and strategic thinking, we have continued to build and grow.”

He highlighted the company’s distinctive approach to estate development, noting its use of the “labelling theory” in branding estates around cultural and geographic identities, backed by strong infrastructure investment.

In response, ESV Kadiri commended Adron’s consistent expansion and innovative practices, describing the developer as “a formidable pillar in the Nigerian real estate landscape.” He emphasized the need for synergy between both institutions and expressed interest in collaborative opportunities for NIESV members within Adron’s projects.

“We are here to seek collaboration. We believe that our members can tap into the vast structures and opportunities that Adron Homes has already created,” he stated.

Echoing the sentiment, the Chairman of the NIESV Cooperative Society proposed a dedicated housing zone for NIESV members within Adron estates—enabling surveyors to build customized properties in line with their professional ideals and financial plans. He added, “This collaboration could bring our collective dream into the larger Adron vision.”

Further discussions included proposals for NIESV experts in estate and facility management to be integrated into Adron’s estate operations—creating added value for the developer and enhanced professional practice for the institution’s members.

Sir Emmanuelking welcomed the ideas with enthusiasm, expressing readiness to expand existing ties. “We’ve enjoyed a cordial and mutually beneficial relationship with NIESV Lagos Branch in the past,” he noted. “This administration brings renewed energy, and we are eager to deepen that relationship in meaningful and strategic ways.”

Members of the NIESV delegation praised Adron’s national footprint and visionary leadership. One executive remarked, “This visit has been an eye-opener. As practitioners in the industry, we often underestimate the breadth and depth of being a real estate developer. Today, we’ve gained a new perspective, and more importantly, renewed inspiration.”

In attendance were other NIESV Lagos executives, including Vice-Chairman ESV Ayodeji Odeleye, Honorary Secretary ESV Olaseni Lojede, and key officials from Adron Group, including Managing Director Adenike Ajobo, Group Company Secretary Shola Orunmuyiwa, Deputy Managing Director for Business Investment Chitola Roberts, Chief Press Secretary Maureen Echefu, and the Chairman’s PA, Faruq Salisu.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to collaboration, signaling a new era of partnership between developers and professional estate managers in Nigeria.

With leaders like Aare Adetola Emmanuelking driving such alliances, stakeholders agree that the future of Nigeria’s housing sector is poised for bold transformation.
