BREAKING: Ex-Head of Service, Oyo-Ita, docked by EFCC

The immediate past Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita, has been arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

She was arraigned on Monday by the anti-graft agency in connection with alleged N3 billion graft before a judge at the Federal High Court, sitting in Abuja.

Oyo-Ita was relieved of her post in September, 2019 after an aide of hers was discovered to have about N600m in bank account.

The EFCC also reportedly traced about N3 billion to her, believed to be kickbacks on contracts, illegal estacodes and duty tour allowance received from the government.
