A prominent businessman, philanthropist, and minister of the gospel, Akin Fasipe, has officially declared his intention to contest for the Boluwaduro/Ifedayo/Ila Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 general elections.

Running on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Fasipe’s entry into the race follows his recent resignation from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). “I am confident that the ADC will give the ticket to Boluwaduro local government since the LG has suffered marginalization both at the federal and the state constituencies,” Fasipe stated.

Promising a departure from “business as usual,” the aspirant, who is a senior minister under Pastor Femi Emmanuel at Livingspring Chapel International, emphasized his commitment to ethical leadership.

“I am bringing integrity, transparency, and the fear of God into the politics of the federal constituency,” he added.
