Government Needs More Time to Tackle Economic, Security Issues – CDS Musa

On Friday, Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Christopher Musa remarked that it is unrealistic to expect the current administration to resolve Nigeria’s economic and security challenges within a year.

Addressing journalists in Abuja, Musa recognized the government’s efforts and highlighted that policies have been enacted to tackle these issues.

He emphasized that while some progress has been made, additional time and collective support are necessary to achieve complete peace and economic growth.

“The Federal Government has been in office for one year, and it’s not possible to solve every financial, economic, and security situation within that timeframe,” Musa said.

“I’ve seen the policies made to address these issues, and things are improving. We’re not where we want to be, but we’re heading in the right direction. With everyone’s support, we can bring total peace and grow the economy,” he added.
