Go for Coronavirus test, Fayemi tells state governors, goes into self isolation

Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi has appealed to other state governors in the country to go into self isolation immediately and take the Coronavirus test.
Fayemi, who is the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum, who made the call on his Twitter handle on Wednesday, also disclosed that he had undergone the coronavirus test having been exposed to two persons who had tested positive for COVID-19.
This is coming after Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed and the President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday and have been quarantined.
Bala and Kyari reportedly had contact with governors and ministers recent meetings of the National Executive Council and the Federal Executive Council.
The governor tweeted: “I just took the COVID-19 test having gone into self-isolation since yesterday evening. I’m asymptomatic and feel well but I was in meetings with two people who had since tested positive.
“I look forward to an all clear and I have encouraged all my colleagues to take the test.”
