Sir Aare Adetola Emmanuelking KOF, Group Chairman of Adron Group, has joined millions of Nigerians in mourning the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, hailing him as a towering figure in Nigeria’s history and a symbol of patriotic service.

In a solemn tribute released to the press, Emmanuelking described the death of the former Head of State as a moment of profound national mourning, reflecting on Buhari’s lifetime of sacrifice and unwavering commitment to the Nigerian cause.

“His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, was more than a leader, he was a symbol of discipline, duty, and commitment to national integrity. His life, marked by sacrifice and stoic patriotism, leaves behind a legacy that will resonate far beyond his years,” he said.

Reflecting on Buhari’s evolution from military leadership to democratic governance, Emmanuelking praised the late President’s rare blend of firmness and humility, noting the consistency of his values across both eras.

“From the battlefields as a gallant general to the seat of power as a democratically elected President, he served with honour. He was austere, yet compassionate; firm, yet loyal to the unity of Nigeria,” he remarked.

Extending his condolences to the Buhari family and the nation at large, Emmanuelking noted that the loss was not only personal to the bereaved but also deeply national in scope.

“You have not only lost a patriarch, but the nation has lost a father figure, a sentinel of moral strength, and a resolute defender of the Nigerian dream,” he stated.

He encouraged Nigerians to honour Buhari’s memory not just in mourning but in living by the values the former President championed—discipline, unity, and resilience.

“Though his voice may now be silent, the echoes of his convictions for a greater Nigeria will continue to inspire generations to come,” he concluded.

Muhammadu Buhari, who first led Nigeria as a military Head of State from 1983 to 1985, returned decades later to serve as the country’s civilian President from 2015 to 2023. His passing marks the end of an era defined by steadfast nationalism and unrelenting public service.

Sir Aare Adetola Emmanuelking’s tribute joins a growing wave of national and international tributes celebrating a man whose life embodied duty, sacrifice, and unshakable commitment to the Nigerian project.
