Reps to hold valedictory session on Wednesday

The valedictory session of the 9th House of Representatives has been scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 7^th of June, 2023, ahead of the inauguration of the 10th House billed for June 13.

This was disclosed in a statement on Tuesday by the Clerk to the House of Representatives, Dr Yahaya Danzaria.

According to him, the Speaker of the House, Femi Gbajabiamila is expected, during the session to deliver his valedictory speech while principal officers of the House will present goodwill messages.

The statement further disclosed that event will also feature contributions and goodwill messages by members, former presiding officers of the House and former Clerks to the National Assembly.

Danzaria further stated that during the session, members of the 9th House would be presented their certificates of membership by the Speaker of the House.
