‘THE TRUMP TRAP’ — Primate Ayodele Warns Tinubu of Secret Plot to Oust Him Following Maduro’s Capture

Fresh off the heels of the dramatic U.S. military seizure of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a chilling warning to President Bola Tinubu: “You are next on the list.”
In a prophetic alert shared on Sunday, the cleric claimed that the arrest of the Venezuelan leader by Donald Trump’s administration is not an isolated event, but a blueprint for a wider strategy to destabilize and eventually remove President Tinubu from power.
Primate Ayodele alleged that the Trump administration is using Nigeria’s desperate need for security assistance as a Trojan Horse. He warned that the recent U.S. military involvement in Northern Nigeria—including the Christmas Day airstrikes against ISWAP—is a smokescreen for a deeper political agenda.
“America will be part of those who will be against Tinubu,” Ayodele stated.
The cleric emphasized that while the U.S. may offer help against insurgents, their ultimate goal is not the peace of Nigeria, but the infiltration of the country’s defense systems to facilitate a change in leadership.
“Nigeria will still continue to fight insecurity, but either they fight it or not, Trump is focused on removing Tinubu from office,” Ayodele warned.
According to the Primate, the “caging” of the Nigerian President has already begun through diplomatic and military maneuvers. He claimed that Trump is adamant about seeing a new administration in Abuja and is merely waiting for the right moment to strike.
To counter this alleged plot, Ayodele urged the President to abandon traditional diplomacy and take decisive, “bold” actions to preserve his seat before the American influence becomes irreversible.
“Take a very bold step to overcome Trump’s plan because he has caged him already,” the cleric advised.
The warning comes at a time of extreme tension between Washington and Abuja. Following Trump’s “Country of Particular Concern” designation for Nigeria in late 2025 and his subsequent “guns-a-blazing” military intervention, many analysts fear that Nigeria’s sovereignty is at its most vulnerable state in decades.
While the Presidency has yet to respond to Ayodele’s specific spiritual warnings, the recent extraction of Maduro from Caracas has lent an air of urgency to the cleric’s claims that Trump is no longer following the traditional rules of international engagement.
