Supporters group celebrates Emma Akhaba on birthday

The Supporters Group of Hon. Emma Akhaba, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State is rolling out the drums to celebrate his birthday today the 10th of October, 2020.

The group, which is his support base for his ambition to contest for the Edo State House of Assembly for the Etsako East State Constituency, hinged the birthday celebration on the need to celebrate a man many have described as the man of the masses.
Hon. Akhaba, in his sojourn in the world of politics, have shown that politics can indeed have a human face and used as a tool for human development and advancement of popular causes.

Speaking on the significance of Akhaba’s birthday celebration, the Convener of the group, Hon. Amos Friday Akpechi, also an SSA to Governor Obaseki, said Akhaba’s human face in politics calls for celebration as he has been able to galvanise his involvement in government for the betterment of his people at the constituency.

“Hon. Akhaba is a man of the people who has shown that Nigerian politics and politicians can be better, more responsive and responsible in the service of the people.

“It is for this reason that we are celebrating his birthday to escalate his good works, uncommon strides and plans for the people of Etsako East State Constituency of Edo State, when he eventually becomes the people’s representative at the state House of Assembly.

“There is no doubt that we need quality representation at the assembly and Hon Akhaba has shown more than enough capacity, quality and readiness to offer this.”

Akhaba’s birthday this year, according to the group will be used to offer practical solutions to the developmental challenges facing the constituency with a view to permanently giving the constituents a sense of belonging in the scheme of things in the state.
