Remo Sec Sch Shatters Public Education Norms with Historic University Style Graduation for Class of 2026

SAGAMU, OGUN STATE – In a landmark event that has redefined how public secondary education is celebrated in Nigeria, Remo Secondary School (RSS) has officially sent off its graduating Class of 2026 in a grandeur-filled, university-style convocation ceremony.

In a major boost to the academic futures of the graduates, the Hope Bridge Social Impact Foundation announced full higher education scholarships for approximately 25 deserving students. The financial lifeline is structured to cover the tertiary education of the beneficiaries, removing financial barriers and enabling them to pursue their professional aspirations.

Delivering the keynote address, the President of the RSSOSA, Sir Aare Adetola Emmanuelking KOF, praised the graduating cohort and commended the sacrifices made by the school’s faculty and parents in shaping the students’ journeys.

In his remarks, Sir Emmanuelking extended warm appreciation to the Ogun State Government under the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun, specifically praising the administration’s educational reforms.

The RSSOSA President singled out the state’s flagship infrastructural program, identifying its tangible benefits on public learning environments.

He specifically acknowledged the Governor’s Yellow Revolution initiative, describing it as one of the notable interventions that has positively impacted the education sector and contributed to creating a more conducive environment for learning across public schools in Ogun State.

According to him, the Governor’s keen attention to education and the deliberate interventions of his administration have had a positive ripple effect that has extended to institutions such as Remo Secondary School, contributing to the school’s continued growth and development and helping to position it as a great institution.

Closing his address, the RSSOSA leader also acknowledged the ministry’s administrative support:
