Heir to the English throne, Prince Charles tests positive for Coronavirus
The heir apparent to the English throne, Prince Charles has tested positive to the dreaded COVID-19 disease, widely referred to as Coronavirus, Buckingham Palace said on Wednesday.
Being the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles has been the heir to the English throne for the past six decades.
The palace disclosed that Prince Charles, 71, is displaying mild symptoms of COVID-19 but said he “remains in good health.”
The United Kingdom as of Wednesday, according to statistics from the World Health Organisation (WHO), has 6,654 confirmed coronavirus cases and 335 recorded deaths.
